Pushbike Army Single Launch Dates Confirmed!
Written by admin on February 20, 2008 – 6:45 pm -We are pleased to announce that the dates and support bands for the Pushbike Army single launch have now been confirmed.
The first launch party will take place on Friday 4th April 2008 at the Nines club in John Rennie’s hometown of Barrow-in-Furness. This will be the first opportunity to get your hands on a physical copy of the single, over a week before it is released. The band will play alongside local heroes ‘Sevens’ who are currently recording their first album with highly acclaimed producer Andy ‘Aim’ Turner having been recently signed to ATIC Records.
The second single launch party has been confirmed to take place at the Cardigan Arms in Leeds on Saturday 12th April 2008, two days before the single is due to hit the shops. Pushbike Army have handpicked some top notch support for the night including Post/Punk outfit Beat the Radar from Manchester, the excellent young ‘Smiths’ inspired band from Northwich, Uranium Lake and last but not least the craziest band in the UK all the way from Barrow-in-Furness ‘The Mooncats’. The night will be hosted by a guest compare, no other than Phoenix FM presenter Rob ‘Rock’n'Roll’ Galloway. This gig will have only a £4 entry fee payable on the door and doors open at 8pm. Make sure you get down early because it is only a 120 capacity venue and it’s sure to be a sell out.
